Host-related Factors Affecting Regeneration and Homeostasis at Periodontal/Peri-implant Interface
Recorded November 16 – 2023
Regenerative medicine has been a part of dental practice for at least 40 decades. While there have been tremendous development in biomaterials and the surgical techniques significantly improved from complex manipulations to minimally invasive surgeries, the outcomes of such procedures still heavily rely on host response more than biomaterials and/or techniques. This presentation will review basic wound healing phases in regeneration and will discuss factors differentially affecting periodontal/peri-implant tissues.
Binnaz Leblebicioglu, DDS, MS, PhD
More About This Course
